Southern fantasy

A misty Southern river curves gently through a dense grove of cypress trees, their roots twisting above dark water like sleeping serpents. High in the branches, tangled Spanish moss catches the glow of incorporeal orbs, as if will-o’-the-wisps have taken root in the canopy. Along the near bank, carved stone markers bearing faint, glowing sigils lean at odd angles, half-swallowed by earth and creeping vines. Dawn’s first light seeps through from the horizon, mixing soft pinks and golds with the bluish glow of the orbs. Captured in photographic realism from a slightly elevated, wide-angle viewpoint, the composition places the river on a leading diagonal, creating an atmosphere of quiet awe, ancient magic, and the slow, enduring pulse of the Southern landscape.
